Concrete Loves No Safe Place

Concrete Loves No Safe Place

Concrete Loves ‘No Safe Place’ by graphic artist, printmaker and designer, Anthony Burrill. The limited edition screenprint has been created using charcoal from the burnt trees of the Australian Bushfires.

For almost eight months, New South Wales has experienced raging bushfires, with more than five million hectares burned following a long drought and record temperatures. Burrill’s print will be auctioned and proceeds will be donated to a number of charities working to rebuild lives and restore lost wildlife habitats in Australia.

The artwork will be exhibited inĀ Rise, an upcoming exhibition in Sydney that will feature an international roll call of artists and designers who have contributed work made using this unusual material.
