At Concrete we like to give back. Over the past few years we’ve helped charity Bankside Open Spaces Trust host a street party for their Great Get Together. With last year’s drawing in crowds of over 12,000.
This year, due to social distancing, we helped the event hit the airwaves and stream across three radio stations. We provided PR, partnerships and social media which helped The Great Get Together receive national press coverage.
Concrete first worked with Bankside Open Spaces Trust (BOST) in 2018. At this time, they’d already produced their first Great Get Together with the Jo Cox foundation and attracted a crowd of 3500.
Concrete works on print and digital campaigns for BOST engaging major UK brands and partnerships. As the UK’s largest ‘The Great Get Together’ festival we’ve been able to help increase attendance from 3,500 in 2017 to 7,000 in 2018 and over 12,000 in 2019.
This year as a result of COVID-19 and social distancing the street festival was unable to happen. We didn’t let this stop us though. We worked with three radio stations and a record label to put the event ‘on-air’. The on-air event increased listeners to one of the stations by a massive 28%.
We were instrumental in providing the PR, partnerships and social media marketing which helped The Great Get Together receive national press coverage.
