As the month of June has come to an end so does the biggest global annual architectural festival, the London Festival of Architecture (LFA). The festival delivers a programme of more than 400 events across the capital and is supported by a plethora of different organisations to enable the public audience a chance to engage with all that is creative and architectural in our wonderful city of London.
For Concrete, our relationship continued with Bankside Open Spaces Trust with the installation of an interactive pavilion at the Malborough Sports Garden in London Bridge. ‘The Redivider’ created by Stride Treglown aimed to explore the social boundaries cultivated by our digital worlds with an immersive structure of various sliding walls to walk through. Again, this has been a fantastic addition to the LFA and we look forward to seeing what exciting installation will occupy this space next year.
